"For the past few months the only time I've seen heavy equipment working around here, it has been leveling some of our desparate buildings. So it is great to see the activity at Highway 45 and 64 where the Kwik Trip store is going up, and just across the street, the addition to the Drager Oil Co. store to house an Arby's restaurant. I'm told that Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell will be getting going in a pretty good fizz at North Avenue and Highway 45, too. According to the report from the Common Council meeting in the Thursday edition of the Journal, the Merit Gear project is still a "go" and will be done in the spring. All good signs."
