Why is it that DOG almost LOST his career for using the N-word, yet Chris Rock MAKES a career out of using the N-word??

Yes! Our right to freedom of speech is guaranteed by the US Constitution. This “Dog” person has the right to say any word he wants, at anytime, anyplace and anywhere. Our brave men and women in uniform defend these rights for us each and every day and they are of all races and all colors. I don’t think that anyone can argue that the N word is clearly a derogatory word, usually associated with African Americans. If anyone wishes to use such a word, it’s certainly their freedom and not a crime. However, when you choose to utter such things, you also choose to be judged by others for the things that come out of your own mouth. When a celebrity makes a choice to say such things, they are revealing themselves and their character for the world to see. If this “Dog” person was once some kind of role model, well he has now revealed an ugly flaw for all of us to see. It was his choice to say it and now it is my choice to think that he is ignorant. Yes, it IS just a word, but if it has the power to hurt and such a negative and racist stigma attached to it, wouldn’t it really just be much better NOT to have it in your vocabulary? I’m sure this “Dog” person once had fans of all colors and now I’m sure he’s lost a lot of them.

At what point is it all right for them to pull his show for his use of a word in a private conversation with a family member?? A word. WORD!
And just a thought…the N-word has been used to describe low-life, good-for-nothing people of every race.
Did anyone think he was using the word to convey her character, not her race???
And if that is how he feels, why should he have to censor himself?
We do still have freedom of speech, don’t we??

It’s so easy to just NOT say such an awful word. Yes, maybe this DOG has done good things, but by using this word, he has shown a huge flaw in his character and is no longer an acceptable role model of any kind.

The outrage and debate about the use of the ” N ” word is getting very old already. Its either A. a bad offensive word, and in that case NO ONE should be allowed to say it regardless of race, or B. its a word thats more like street slang now and if you happen to be offended by the word you’ll just have to be a intelligent civilized person and ignore it….Name calling is for children to get upset over not grown adults…..Before everyone jumps to crucify the DOG, remember this man has done more for society and to help people than probably 95% of the finger pointers and people that are ready to shoot him down ……
