Beer-eze Bar & Grill Now Open

While driving through town this evening, the parking lot was full at the new business in the former Weekends/Rookies building. The “Open” sign was shining brightly. There has been quite a bit of activity going on there in the last few weeks. The work done on the exterior looks great and I wouldn’t be surprised if the interior has had some remodeling done also. So, go give it a try and feel free to post about your opinion of the new outfit. If someone can elaborate on the name of the joint, please do.

*******UPDATE JULY 11,2009 *******

Not sure what is happening with Beer-eze, but, there is a “For Sale” realtor sign & also on the actual Beer-eze sign, it says For Sale or Lease.  Apparently they are closed.  There have been rumors that they planned on re-opening with a different name, but, not sure why they would have it for sale then.

Beer Eze is the last name of the girl that runs it however it’s spelled Bierisi or something like that. Good food and nice atmosphere. So far, everbody there seems friendly. They did a great job remodeling the inside. Looks great!

  2. Moving Forward says:

I have been in there and it is a very nice place with very friendly bartenders and waitresses. Definately recommend checking it out.

  3. JimJimmyJamesG says:

Just ate at the Beer-eze for my first time tonight and was 100% satisfied. The food, menus, waitstaff, entertainment(tableclothes that you can draw on) and drinks were top notch. The super absorbent(and soft) napkins put beer-eze far above my expectations. It is the little details like having a full drink without asking for it that make or break a bar/grill in my eyes. The tall knight statue out front says it all. “Have a great knight at Beer-eze”

  4. ddddd says:

Food OK, except for the Friday fish fry. YUCK! Also, way too full of smoke! I could hardly breathe in there! That’s why we go to the Refuge. NO SMOKING!

  5. Cinco says:

I know the owners of Beer Eze. The woman who owns it used to own Meradith’s in Appleton. She helped us with our wedding planning and we had our reception at her place.
She and her husband are very nice people and I’m happy to see that their place is doing well in Antigo.

We were just up there a few weeks back and the service and food were both good.
I do agree about the smoke though. It was thick.

  6. Tim says:

Pizza was burnt when we were there, however the waitress was prompt in making sure we had two more pizzas that weren’t burnt, and also made sure we weren’t paying for the burnt pizza.

  7. luckyfishWI says:

Went there two weeks ago this Friday, the food is way to over priced for the area, seeing that it is no better than McDonald’s. I mean that everything there is precooked bag crap, nothing is homemade – at all. And im with the other person on the smoke, the bar wasnt full, but the smoke eater seemed to not be working? Service is as good as you can expect for the area.. dont expect to get your drinks refilled. Buts its worth a try… once anyways.

  8. DF2Y says:

Went there tonight, not too impressed. The fish wasn’t very good, like most people have said there was a lot of smoke, and our food came out at different times. I’m hoping it’s something they’ll get better at, it would be a shame to see ANOTHER place go down the drain in that building.

  9. blake bieri says:

the place is great, food drinks atmosphere is all great fish fry is excellent monday bingo is a blast

  10. ddddd says:

TOO BAD IT’S SO FULL OF THICK POISON SMOKE!!!

  11. getreal says:

again if u don’t like the smoke go somewhere else or don’t go there at all. you act like you are perfect.

  12. ddddd says:

I went twice to BEER-EZE. The second time, really hoping they’d gotten their smoke eater fixed, but they still hadn’t, even after about 2 months! The smoke is so bad in that place that my FOOD even tasted like cigarettes! getreal – YOU NEED TO GET REAL! Smoke is nasty, unhealthy and it KILLS people. We are a non-smoking family, so why would I want to spend a night out breathing smoke, coughing and eating cigarette infused cuisine!?! Of course I am not perfect. What a silly remark! I’m far from perfect, but I still have the right to take care of myself and my family, by not compromising our lungs and lives in a poisonous atmosphere! This blog is for all to share opinions and I hope that the BIERI’S read the views shared by the non-smokers and get a working smoke eater. They are losing business because of it. I do not want to see this restaurant fail, but a lot of us will not go back until they do something about the horrible and unhealthy smoke issue. getreal – P.S. You should stop smoking! It’s killing you and your family!

  13. Kim says:

    ddddd~

What dining area are you going too? I have been there twice and haven’t had a problem with the smoke. There are two dining areas, one near the bar and another one I wanna say by a pool table, in a lower section. We always sit down there and haven’t had a smoke problem.

  14. ddddd says:

Hi Kim – Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, we’ve been seated in both dining areas and found it just as bad in both. My eyes were even all swollen after the last visit and we were down in the lower one then! I know I’m not the only one saying this. I wish they would invest in a working smoke eater or even two. I kind of get the impression that Beer-Eze is way more of a bar than a restaurant and that’s kind of a shame if you ask me, but whatever works for them. They always seem really busy when I drive by, so they must be doing well. I wish them the best, but I just cannot deal with the smoke. If anyone sees some new smoke eaters in there, please post on the BUZZ. I’d try again!

  15. tinker says:

JUST FOR YOUR INFO DDDDD I DO NOT SMOKE. AND I GIVE THOSE PEOPLE THIER RIGHTS WHILE THEY HAVE THEM. LIKE I SAID IF U DONT LIKE IT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR THE TIME BEING. AND ITS NOT JUST SMOKE THAT KILL PEOPLE. MAYBE U HAVE ALLERGIES AND SMOKE MAYBE ONE OF THEM. IF U WANT TO GO OUT FOR BEER DO U COMPLAIN ABOUT THE BARS AND HOW SMOKE FILLED THEY ARE ALSO, SAME THING DIFFERENT PLACE. AND WHILE MACHINES HELP CUT DOWN ON SMOKE THEY DONT GET RID OF IT COMPLETELY. TAKE A MASK. GO TO COUNTRY KITCHEN THEY COULD USE YOUR CRYING BUSINESS, AT LEAST THEY HAVE DIVIDED SIDES FOR U.

  16. ddddd says:

I NEVER go to bars! NOT EVER! Too SMOKEY and besides a glass of champagne on a special occassion, I don’t really drink either, so I have no reason to go. That’s is EXACTLY why I stopped going to BEER-EZE. I was hoping it would be more of a restaurant since their menu looked so good, but after being their twice, it seems more like a smokey bar or tavern than a serious restaurant. THAT IS WHAT I SAID TINKER … AND I HAVE A RIGHT TO MY OPINION. A lot of us in the area are NON SMOKERS so I am warning the others to beware of the smoke. Country Kitchen is awful, so I would never go there either, but that’s beacause of the bad food and not the smoke. PuhLeeease … You need to stop your whining! Your bad habit is poison to yourself and others. I certainly hope you are NOT smoking in the house or car with your kids, because that is sick and abusive! At least the smoker’s I know want to quit! You are actually trying to act like there is nothing wrong with your disgusting habit. Well, guess what … THERE IS!!!

  17. tinker says:

i’m not the one who is whining and yes u r entitled your opinion, however, not everyone agrees with u. and u didn’t read my previous writing, I DO NOT SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and just like everyone else they have rights just like u have the right to not go there. so don’t go there it’s not like the place will probably miss u anyway, with all the whining u do. and not everybody goes to the bar to drink, i happen to know alot of people who go just for a soda or to get out and play darts and pool. maybe u should go out, i might broaden your insights on people that don’t have their noses too far in the air.

  18. ddddd says:

Plenty of people agree with me! Just read the posts! Why are you so angry about what I am saying? This is my OPINION. If you have another opinion, voice it. Different ideas are why a “buzz” is created! It’s a good thing. Tinker-You admit you are/were a smoker in another post on another page and if you were a true non-smoker, you would not enjoy PAYING to sit in a cloud of poison created by others. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! I have friends who are smokers. They want to quit but have yet to be successful. After having kids, they ALL stopped smoking in their houses and cars. They also DO NOT take their children to smokey places. This is what good parents do. They protect their kids. SMOKE IS POISON! I feel this: If a restaurant wants to allow smoke, OK, but they should at least invest in smoke eating devices that will protect their non-smoking customers, especially the children! If they do not do this, they will begin to seem more like a bar than a serious restaurant. Families with young kids and non-smokers alike will stop coming. Beer-Eze could keep these customers by simply investing in these machines. In a small town, local businesses need all the customers they can get. This is a FACT. I want the new place to do well and I would like to go back, this is why I took the time to post here. By the way: I NEVER go to bars because of the smoking and drinking. I don’t like it. If you like it, there is nothing wrong with that. I choose to spend my time differently. I travel, I volunteer, I love museums, I like good movies, I love to take walks with my family and dogs. We are different, yes, but I am no better than you or anyone else. Did I ever say I was? Why are you so angry at me?

  19. tinker says:

you are right ddddd, however i am not angry at u, but how u voice your opinion makes u sound as if u are a saint. and yes i used to smoke and no it is not easy, however if u want to quit u can, it take a lot of will power. i know this. and the reason i haven’t started again is that i have kids and they know that it is a dirty habit, but smokers still have rights just like us. and just for your info i do protect my kids but u can’t protect them from everything. it sounds as if u r the one with the anger. and i do know why buzz is here, that is the reason i’m hear, to voice my opinion.

  20. ddddd says:

TINKER – I am certainly no saint and am the first to admit it. I have no idea where you could possibly get that opinion of me. You are 1OO% correct about my anger though. You see tinker, my sister DIED of lung cancer and you know what? She NEVER SMOKED EVEN ONE CIGARETTE IN HER ENTIRE LIFE! She did however, work in an office where a lot of her coworkers did smoke. THEY KILLED HER! And guess what else!?! Although some of them were guilty and sorry, a few of them even had the nerve to show up at her funeral and stand outside and smoke!!! I could barely contain myself from not grabbing their necks and strangeling each and every one of them. That is how my sister died. She slowly strangeled to death! You know what else … my sister had 3 beautiful YOUNG children who adored their Mom. I had to watch them in hysterics at their Mother’s grave. I had to watch my parents cry and see them age 25 years in a few months. I had to watch her loving husband go into shock and misery. I’ve also had to suffer with a family that has never been happy since she passed. I have a child now that will never know my sister. I miss her every single day. She was beautiful and amazing and SHE WAS THE SAINT IN MY FAMILY, certainly not me! This nightmare happened to us because of smokers who THINK they have the right to do this to other people. THEY DO NOT! I am sick and tired of smokers and their ridiculous rights. I have every reason to be. I hope you have stopped smoking tinker and I will PRAY that you never get the urge to smoke again. I’m sure it’s tough to quit, but do it. Do it for yourself and for your kids. PLEASE do not let what happened to my family happen to yours. I grieve for my sister every single day.

  21. getreal says:

i’m sorry for your loss. however, lung cancer in not just from smoking. and yes u do have a lot of anger. u breath chemicals everyday due to the enviroment and the things that humans have built. exhaust, aerosols, refrigerant, and many other things in this society give off fumes. and if u hate smoking so much i can only wonder what u think of your friends who smoke whether it be around u or not. i have also know someone who died from lung cancer and didn’t smoke a day in her life. however she was never around smoking she was a homemaker. so now tell me the odds of that. people die every day of cancer and there are some who have no idea how they could get it. its the odds of life. your sister was and unfortunate person to have left your family too soon. however she chose to work there. and as addictive as smoking is its easier to quit other things.

  22. ddddd says:

My sister died from second hand smoke. So have thousands and thousands of other people. She spent years at the Mayo Clinic and was involved in numerous studies there. This was the diagnosis. Please do not argue with me about my sister. Also, my sister DID NOT choose to work around smokers. She complained continually and by the time the workplace became non-smoking, the damage was done. Please do not tell me she chose to die. She loved her family and her life. I find it a bit odd that you are so defensive of smokers rights and then claim you are not a smoker. I do not condemn anyone for their choices, but no one has the right to force poison upon others. I do not judge my friends or anyone else, but I will not tolerate smoke around my child, my family or myself. If you choose to allow this around your children, so be it, but please stop berating me for stating my opinion on a community site.

  23. getreal says:

again i am not berating u. its just that i am doing the same as u i am stating my opinion, and as odd as u may find it i do not feel they are killing me, considering the world around us. our opinions differ that is obvious, but u are the one who is berating me. and u seem to have more dislike me than i u, and all i have done is state an opinion, and the reason for that is because u have had a terrible experience from it. i no longer feel the need to discuss this further as we will never agree about the fact that they have rights. as far as the restaurant, i hope it stays alot longer than some.

  24. ddddd says:

I don’t dislike you, I don’t even know you! You are a stranger to me! I’m not even sure if you are GETREAL or TINKER. Two names I guess? I don’t take the Buzz all that seriously and just check in from time to time for fun. I also have no reason to explain myself further. It should be obvious to ALL now, why I am anti-smoking. I wish BeerEze nothing but luck. I do however hope that Wisconsin laws will change and that all restaurants will be non-smoking in the near future. I have a feeling it will happen!

  25. ignorant people suck! says:

The Constitution of the United States is what gives us our rights. I have never read anything in it that gives anyone the right to smoke in public. If people do have the right to smoke in publice, laws pertaining to smoking in public would have been found unconstitional and therefore repealed. Thankfully, it is only a matter of time before people will no longer be able to smoke in public. I am another person whose health has been affected by smoking. Both my parents have smoked since before I was born. I now have asthma that my doctor believes is a result of being in that environment as a child. I did not choose to ingest that smoke. I do not like paying higher health care premiums to cover the doctor expenses of those that do smoke. I think it is sad that the government gives people money to care for their children because they can’t afford to take care of them yet they can go to the gas station and spend $50 a week on smokes. Not allowing smoking in public places is a start, but it is not a cure-all.

  26. Kim says:

This coming from a former smoker who has since quit, who is not trying to get into a fight, but voicing my opinion:

“I have never read anything in it that gives anyone the right to smoke in public.”

It doesn’t say anywhere in the constitution that you cannot smoke in public either.

My point has been made. I will not comment on the subject again.

  27. ddddd says:

    great food and atmosphere

  28. the REAL ddddd says:

I did NOT say the above….someone else used my name so I guess I will have to change it. The food is OK, but the atmosphere is unfortunately WAY too full of smoke for me or anyone with children. Thank you “IPS” for your help. I am sorry that you too, were affected by other people’s smoke. I’m sure your parents did not know better back then, but we do know the dangers today and it’s absurd that i is still allowed. I agree with you on quite a lot of things! And Kim, you are also right, but SMOKE KILLS PEOPLE and I’m tired of smokers inflicting their poison on the rest of us. Congrats for quitting, I am sure it was not easy and you should be really proud of yourself. I think second hand smoke is basically ASSAULT and I’ve had enough! The law WILL pass soon and that will be a day to celebrate!!!!

  29. Sherry says:

I am a five-month along quitter and still struggle with my addiction, although I haven’t cheated once. I do believe that smokers have lost some of their rights along the way and should be allowed to smoke OUTSIDE anywhere they please (not inside of businesses with the exception of bars). Those people that frequent the bars are obviously used to the smoke and it just goes hand-in-hand with alcohol. Unless we can get the drunks to go OUTSIDE when they’ve had too much to drink, too…an obnoxious drunk is just as annoying as smoke in your face (how far how we going to go with this anyway???).

  30. Alexis says:

You know, both smokers and non-smokers have EQUAL rights. To say they don’t is discrimination.

Getreal has an excellent point. People are exposed to cancer causing agents every day, the least of them being second hand smoke. (You are exposed to carcinagins in everything from food preservatives, gasoline fumes, carpet glue, paint, chemical cleaners, microwave popcorn flavoring, printer ink, etc, etc. So if you drive a car, pump gas, clean your home, live in a house, travel, work in an office or eat, you have been exposed to cancer causing agents. To blame it entirely on second hand smoke is ridiculous!)
And I don’t see ddddd boycotting WPS for pumping poison into the air or giving up her travel because planes, trains and automobiles give off poisonous exhaust.

As far as a statewide ban, I have a hard time when the government tries to ban anything that is a legal substance that they subsidise.
So much for all that money the state claimed they were going to make when they raised cig tax. Hard to make money off of something you aren’t allowed to do anywhere.

We keep asking the government to step in and take away others choices when we don’t agree. Enough is enough. This country was founded on the freedom to make your own choices. If I want to smoke a legal substance(and contribute to my community with the taxes I pay on them) that is my choice. I have a choice regarding where I go to eat, drink or relax. I have a choice of what I do for a living and where I work. I have a choice to be around smoking or not. You want to take away the choices of smokers and give non-smokers EVERY possibility. That’s not fair. Both should have EQUAL rights and opportunities. If you want to smoke, smoke. If you don’t, then don’t. But quit asking the government to pick sides!!!!!

  31. antigonewbie says:

    Question:

If smoke is thick in a bar, is it a smoking issue or a ventilation issue?

By banning smoking, do you fix the ventilation issue?

Smoke bans are nothing more than a cheap fix that doesn’t address the bigger issue of work place health and public health as a whole.

As mentioned prior with all of the toxins we run into on a micro second basis everyday, do you really think eliminating smoke is really a good idea? How about installing air scrubbers. DOH! Too expensive. So while we ban smoking, we allow other allergins, toxins, etc to be inhaled because we don’t see those. Out of sight, out of mind = a healthy environment. Where is the eye roll emoticon when you need one:)

Smoking bans are a sham and many violate ADA rules in the work place with regard to addiction and reasonable accomodations and are a waste of time when not addressing bigger health isssues such as ventilation and true clean air.

Isn’t interesting as this nation gets more obese the increase in cases of asthma has gone up commensurately?

    Time to ban McDonalds?

    http://body.aol.com/asthma/learn-about-it/what-causes-asthma/why-is-asthma-so-common

  32. DF2Y says:

That was a good post antigonewbie until you brought up mcdonalds. At McDonald’s, you don’t have to get a Big Mac or double quarter pounder (why they dont just call it a half pounder, i dont know). You can get salads, chicken sandwiches, etc. There is no “salad” version of a cigarette, no matter what the brand, they all kill.

  33. ddddd says:

So glad they’ve put tables outside! We’ve been four times since they did and it’s really nice without the smoke issue. Also, it’s nice to enjoy the outdoors whenever possible since the nice weather comes and goes so quickly in Antigo. By the way, Beer-Eze also has take out, so that’s always an option. The food really is very good.

  34. Fed Up says:

I will play devil’s advocate for a second. If we all have rights, smokers and nonsmokers, do I have the right to say no to those who have lung cancer caused by smoking and secondhand smoke and I don’t have to provide health care for them? Seems like a two sided coin to me. I used to smoke, glad I quit, and avoid places where smoke is an issue but really appreciate it when a restaurant takes a proactive approach and provides me the choice of inhaling smoke okay or not inhaling smoke again. Just a thinking thing.

  35. Sherry says:

Rumor is that the owner closed up the place after she became delinquent on numerous debts…I guess we’ll see in time what happens there.

  36. true colors says:

Now she’s starting ‘Cookies and Cocktails’ which sounds to me like a typicial pyramid scam….look out.

  37. STAN says:

I wonder if Home & Garden, Avon, & Mary Kay parties are considered pyramid schemes? There’s always a consultant that is above you that makes money off of your sales. Hmm.
I think it was a nice place with a neat atmosphere. I think it’s terrible that people are starting rumors as to why it closed. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for making Antigo into a Peyton Place. People that move here are treated rudely and unfairly. You’re like a bunch of vulchers circling, can’t wait for the next juicy morsel of gossip to satisfy your craving for misery.
Don’t be supportive of your neighbor, friend, or fellow business man. Don’t offer them help, support, or empathy. At the first sight of trouble, pounce! Because, you know, rumor has it.

  38. true colors says:

You obviously don’t know this woman.

  39. Russ says:

  40. Alexis says:

    Beer-Eze is closed.
Supposedly she was behind on payments to distributers and owed sales tax.
There was a plan to open “Cookies & Cocktails”, but according to her father, he has stopped that due to the fact she is so far in debt and he refuses to contribute any futher money to her projects.

I have not verified the delinquent sales tax angle since the states web list is down till Aug 7.

  41. Sherrie says:

Actually, she was not behind on sales tax. Her father who owned the bar previous to January of 2009 was delinquent on the sales tax. The IRS can impose successor liability. They were going to use the building for Cookies and Cocktails but the companies investors did not want it to be placed in such a small market.

At the time of close they were actually not even 30 days behind in lease payments. The issue is going to court as the eviction notice was not even legal.

  42. Meredith says:

Thank you STAN for your support. Although it hasn’t been our experience with everyone in the area, there have been quite a few who would fall into the vulcher and vicious category. Since we have moved here we have donated over $24,000 to the community. A very wise community member reminded me that most of the people talking are bar flys. I was also emailed a few good quotes that sum it up. “If rumors were vodka, Antigo would be wasted” and “Whoever gossips to you will gossip about you” The majority of the rumors were started by Bruce Bieri, sadly, my father. But before you pass those on you should know that he has had a few drunk drivings and several years back the court imposed a retraining order against him. He wasn’t even allowed to be around his own daughter. So before you pass along what you here you may want to check the facts. Cookies and Cocktails has several owners and investors and would have been a great opportunity for this area. I am guessing that True Colors is an employee and has a J-O-B which would cloud judgement.

  43. true colors says:

I’m sorry Meredith, really. Gossip is an ugly thing. I don’t even know you…I’ve just heard a lot of sh*t.

  44. NOTanAntigonian says:

Meredith, I too am sorry to see you and your husband gone. I liked the place and I have met and liked you both. I can only imagine, after reading all of this, you folks looked around and desided to go to a place with less narrow minded people. Good luck to you both in whatever you guys choose to do next. As for the rest of you, oddly I am more surprised with each post I read, that any of you even have computers or the ability to use them. I am considering moving so I dont become as narrow minded as the majority here. I came to your town, from a large city ,believing it was a great place to raise children. I have never been so wrong. I see heroin flow through the streets. I see narrow mindedness that reminds me of a old west movie with lynching and hangin’s and old maids at the general store gossiping after Sunday service. The silly excuse we have for a news paper. And all of it tied together with last names and who’s related to whom…. I thought the good ol’ boys club was a thing Hollywood made fun of in reference to days past

I thought the good ol’ boys club was a thing Hollywood made fun of in reference to days past. Come on Antigo I had such higher hopes for you. I moved here because it was a pretty town with pleasant people. Neighbors that said hello and helped each other. A smaller environment where kids could be kids. Thats what I thought then I started to see past the smoke screen of kindness and really started to view how things worked around here. It is sad to me that really all this is, is a backward little town that is dying out because we are afraid to make the neccessary changes to survive in the real world. Again, Meredith, Good Luck to you and your family.. Dont look back you aren’t missing anything. Dont let these humbled minded folks judge you. They aren’t your peers. You are greater than they.

  46. Alexis says:

Wow Meredith, what a great way to paint your father in an unflatering light. His previous drunk driving and a restraing order have nothing to do with what is going on now. He has a past. So do you.

As far as the tax issue, there is more to this than meets the eye. There is currently no listing on the delinquent tax list but Meredith did have tax warrents filed against her. There is limited info regarding those and if they were against her personally or for Beer-eze.

She is also being taken to small claims court for money owed to her distributers and her advertising.
    Look it up on http://wcca.wicourts.gov.
Guess they’re not just “rumors” !!!

  47. DDDDD says:

To NOTanAntigonian: You too, huh? Your post could have been me. Moved from a big city and settled here thinking all the same things you did. What a joke! I thought BeerEze was such a good thing for this town. The food was great and it was always fun. It’s like so many people cannot wait to see a new business fail. Crazy. I thought of starting a business that would actually employee at last 50 people, but after finding out what it’s like here, I gave up on my idea. THANK GOD! What a waste of time and money that would have been. Soon, no one will bother trying anymore and where will that leave Antigo? I wish Meredith nothing but the best. I know she will be sucessful somewhere else. It’s not you Meredith, it’s Antigo! Look at the way so many of the locals are treating the Kayla Berg case! Ganging up and spreading false rumors about a missing and endangered child!!!! That right there should tell you that something in this community is nuts!

  48. Fed Up says:

You all have a right to your opinions of us in Antigo but you don’t have the right to group us into your tidy little wad and call us names. Those of you who moved from a large city did so to probably get away from something in that city, whatever it was for each of you. I know my family moved here to provide a safe, secure environment for our children. Yes, there are shortcomings here but they are far outweighed by what we have. Opinions abound in small communities, they do in large cities as well it’s just that you don’t hear them because you are surrounded by too much noise. I am sure that Beer-eze was a great establishment for some. Talk has been chatty since they came and supposedly (I don’t have proof and I admit that) told other businesses that they would run them out of town with their success. Not very neighborly to say but maybe its not true. I guess I believed what I was told when someone said the closing was more complicated than what was portrayed and in this economy I can understand how people own more than one establishment and the others keep the newest one afloat until it gets on its feet. Never heard anything bad about the place or its owners so I guess I am guilty of being uninformed by many people in Antigo that you speak of who have been talking.
In closing, you are correct DDDD about the Kayla Berg thing. It is very sad that those who portray themselves as her friends and friends of the family are so hungry for 15 minutes of fame that they just say whatever they want about her and her disappearance. It has been my hope and prayer that she is found so that her family can sleep again. I am not proud of how our community has separated over this disappearance but I do know that some of it comes from what I stated, people who profess to be friends of hers or the family keep rumor circulating too and that is sad. I want her family to know where she is, where ever that it, so they can have peace.

Amen…let us unite to bring Kayla home…wherever she is and whatever the situation may be.

I eat my words. . . I guess all the rumors were true. So long Meredith Booth or Bieri or whatever your new name is. . .
    You will not be missed.
Or maybe that’s all just a rumor too.
