Einstien PCS is for desperate people because that is the biggest ripoff in cell phones.
at&t is running a close second with their $36 per line renewal fee. Are they kidding, who is going to pay them to give them your business? Moving to cellcom when my accounts expire.

For what it is and what it costs, Einstein PCS (now Airfire Mobile) is decent cervise. If all you want is an unlimited plan and texting, it's actually pretty good. The plan I had was nationwide long distance, statewide usage (no roaming unless you went out of state) for $63 dollars a month. The drawbacks were that they didn't have coverage in some of the more rural areas, (it was kinda spotty between Birnamwood and Clintonville,) the people you called wouldn't see your name, just your number and Einstein PCS (I got screened a lot because they didn't know who was calling,) I received soliciting texts occasionally (with their cheaper, $39.95 plan, you get soliciting texts 6-12 times a day according to one of their reps,) they didn't have online bill pay (their website is completely useless) and their customer cervise was terrible. Their call center was only open during regular business hours from Monday to Friday. The customer cervise reps were also kinda of retarded. If all I wanted was to renew my cervise, it was fine, but anything more complicated then that required me to wait on hold for a supervisor. One girl even yelled at me If all you want is a backup phone cervise, Airfire Mobile is fine, but don't rely on it to be your primary phone (like I did.)I now have AT&T and so far no worries.

Back to the original subject . . . Cell One/AT&T . . . I got a letter from AT&T saying that my phone would no longer be usable after Feb. 28 if I didn't call them and have them help me insert a new SIM card (which was included with the letter). I could have gone into the AT&T office to do it, too. The last time I purchased a phone from AT&T was in 2006; at which time I signed a two-year contract with them. I've been without a contract since 2008. When I called them on Dec. 31 and had them work with me to put the new SIM card in, I specifically asked if there would be any changes to my account and she said "no". I found out quickly that that was not the case. First of all, I lost my voice mail. I spent an hour with a rep to get voice mail put back on. Then, when checking my minutes use a week ago, I found out that I had "220 minutes left and I was over by 27 minutes" so I called to find out what was going on. The plan I had been on since 2006 offered me 500 anytime minutes, weekends and nights after 7 p.m. free . . . but she told me that since I put the SIM card in on Dec. 31, that activated a new "plan" for me, even though I didn't authorize it, and that they no longer had 7pm to 7am "free" . . . I'd have to pay an extra $8.95 a month for that feature. I had them cancel the "plan" that I was on and immediately went to Walmart and purchased a new Samsung phone along with a $45 card which gives me unlimited calling, unlimited texts and unlimited mobile web access. GOODBYE AT&T!!! So if you've had to install a new SIM card recently in order to keep using your phone with AT&T, be aware that simply by installing that SIM card, you've agreed to a new "contract" or "plan" with them. Good luck!

If you are only going in there to check on your DVD's, how do you know the details of what they may or may not have done? Just remember, people are not always what they seem. On a side note, I have not heard much gossip since it hasn't been in the paper for a while. People only talk for a few days. Then there is something new to talk about.

Well I know all the people at Jammers and the owner & just because I don't go anywhere doesn't mean a thing. I still think that ppl. in this town shouldn't be talking to much because that is how storys get all messed up & than the only ones that know what really happened here is the ppl. that work there and with all the other storys going around about stuff is about the same Maybe if ppl. would just stop making up things...
Well yes time will tell who gets what out of this...
Well I have been in Jammers because I had to talk to the owner about some stuff that was taken from us & if it came in at Jammers he was going to let me know. whole lot of dvd's were taken from me so I have been talking to him about that..

There are a lot of people involved in the Jammers issue. Some directly, some indirectly. By reading these posts, one can take an educated guess at who is who. I see there have been some charges already. People were charged and released with a later court date. Being released doesn't mean innocent, nor does it mean guilty. I, for one will watch CCAP and the ADJ to see how this plays out. LordyLordy, I apologize for thinking that when you said you wanted to kill yourself ("Gosh I just need to leave this town or just shoot myself I’m getting so sick of this why can’t everyone get along & be happy for what they have & move on.. Dated Nov 11 at 11:37 PM") that I took you seriously. Maybe that is my caring nature. I see no benefit in anyone using suicide as an escape. If you are at home and only go to the grocery store, then the fact that you are never at Jammers should dis-include you from the people who conduct business at said business.

I am sure that there will be more charges brought, but I am not involved in the cases, so I do not have the dates or the charges. I see that Wisconsin and Antigo have done their part. Now it is time for the Department of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms to do their part. They will investigate thoroughly and make a decision on whether or not and who to charge with what.
