So far, I am not impressed with the remodeling going on in Walmart. I think it looks terrible. It also annoys me when they are working during the store hours. I thought that was why they temporarily changed the hours?
I am glad to see some jobs available and being filled for the remodeling project, even if it is just temporary.

I was in Walmart the other night around 9 pm, and they were doing something above the registers on the ceiling with wires. I’m not sure if they were old wires or what, but they just threw them to the ground, not even looking. It probably wouldn’t do anything to an average person, but if a kid or older person got hit I’m sure it would hurt.
why is everyone so down on walmart if we got something else here it wouldnt be as noticeable. i didnt see any complaints about copps and the mess they made with their store. and they usually only have the express lane open and no employees to help there either. fleet farm is the same, no matter where u go its the same. we’re a small town and cut backs r how they survive, if u notice its not like that in bigger areas.
The difference with Copps or Fleet Farm is when there is a bunch of people waiting in line they get people to help. Copps calls people from produce or from other sections in the store to open lines. Walmart doesn’t.
Our Walmart is remodeling. Why? Cause the did a poll and asked a bunch of idiots what they would like to see in the store and the appearance. Forget the dang remodeling, buying new carts, etc. All this is doing is causing prices to go up. I would rather shop with plain old concrete floors and white paint instead new improved cheery remodel. I would rather see Walmart take that millions of dollars and give to the hardworking highly underpaid employess and keep prices down. Who gives a crap what the dang store looks like? Just ALWAYS????? keep your prices down. Forget cheery yellow paint, new floors and new shelves and layout. When I look at these things it makes me disgusted. I hate shopping at Walmart now. The problem is that we are in a small town and don’t really have many other choices. Oh well, probably doesn’t matter what my opionion is and for those idiots who said they wanted to see new and improved remodeled stores, I say you don’t know your head from your %$^….Thanks for nothin walmart.
Val, this blog was from two years ago. I don’t believe they are planning a remodel at this time (?).
