Favre’s been my favorite player for years, but in reality what were the Packer’s supposed to do? They spent the summer grooming Rodgers and creating the game plans for him, they told him they were going to give him the starting job, and now Favre comes back and they are just supposed to kick Rodgers to the curb. The only people that won in this whole deal was the Jets. I think it was unprofessional of Favre to come out of retirement and basically ask the Packers to reneg on their word to Rodgers. No matter what the Packers did, they were going to look like jerks. Either to Rodgers or to Favre. If they did let Farve come back, would it have been the same again next year. Rodgers probably would have gone somewhere else and the Packers would have been up the creek without a paddle.

I’m hoping they DO end up losers this year, would serve management right after what they’ve done to our #4!

I don’t care either way. BUT, I think Favre’s retirement was handled sloppy by Management. If the Packers end up 0 and 6 in week 7 managment needs to pay dearly.

It seemed great when he first got back, but now that he wants a trade and everything, I’m wishing he would’ve stayed retired. I can’t picture him in Tampa Bay…

Here is my opinion: I love the Packers and Favre and wasn’t looking forward to a season without him just yet. Seems like someone heard my prayers (lol). I think it’s great and absolutely a miracle that he’s back! I wish him the best in whatever happens…#4 or not.
