can find here, the Peebles store is set to open on April 30. The
construction has been going on for some time now. Some of the

if its so high priced why does everyone go to wausau and gb appleton to go shopping. they like better quality clothes. u pay for what u get. its not goodwill who is actually high priced.
It’s a very nice store inside and Antigo definitely needed another clothing option! Check out the clearance racks, you can get some good quality clothes pretty reasonable that way.
I don’t think the prices are too high. It’s a nice clean brand new store, so that right there is good for Antigo. I agree with “Life’s Not Fair” because I go to Wausau to buy clothes for my family and pay the prices there. It’s nice to see ANYTHING new in Antigo!
The prices “Looked” high.. but most of the items had discounts in the fine print. I think EVERYTHING had a 15% discount for the Grand Opening. I saw some nice clothes that was marked high but was actually 60% off, plus 15% off for the Grand Opening. Its old trick stores like Kohl’s does. Marks things up and then tells you its 40 to 60% off to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling like you are saving money..
I thought Peebles was fine. It was a nice, new, and Clean store. There was a lot of brand names. I didn’t think the prices were expensive, the items seemed competitive priced very close to Younkers, or Macy’s. It is a Middle Class Department store. You shouldn’t expect Dollar General, or Family Dollar type prices.
I thought this is a great store. Top of the clothing for very reasonable prices. I enjoyed shopping there, and will continue to do so. It is similar to TJ Maxx / Gordman’s. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the fact the store is small. I would have liked to see a larger selection of higher quality cosmetics and home interior items. But I will take what I can get. Best of luck to Peebles!! Welcome to Antigo.
I’m grateful we have another shopping destination in Antigo. I hope more retailers will follow suit.

Another 6 months, and I’ll bet Peebles is gone, unless they can’t get out of their lease until next April.
I agree Albus, Im sorry but i think that most of the people in this town cannot afford to pay $20 for a candle, after its on sale. I did like the fact that they have Nike and new balance shoes, However: I could not find any real good ones that I liked, so off to jc penney in wausau i went, as they always have the buy one get one half off. I know others from where I work that got to wausau also for their shoes. Id like to help peebles, but im stretching my dollars just like every one else. Good luck though!!
