Rolling Town Hall from Noon til 7pm. Music by Allen Cash. Stop in
for free beer, refreshments and home cooking. All proceeds will go
towards raising the reward to finding Kayla and also (God willing) to hiring a private investigator.

I agree, DDDDD…many of us have hearts and are hoping for that miracle that brings Kayla home safe and sound. I think the ones who were so sure that she was a runaway are now changing their minds and realizing what this horrible situation really has become for this family. Hope, don’t stop reading this site just because of a few inconsiderate morons. There are plenty of us who pray everyday for you and your family, especially for Kayla. Be assured that God is watching and waiting to someday let us know what happened to Kayla and where she is.

I have know the Spanbauer family for years. They are wonderful people, Ann and her family are concerned about Kayla. The comments on this website are ridiculous and I feel that people calling other people names and bashing their reputations is crazy. I have helped with benefits and not all business can and do donate. Never have I listed the businesses that havent. People like you who bash these businesses are going to ruin it for everyone, and they wont want to donate to anyone.
Lets get on with finding Kayla.
Please, if everyone could spread the word and maybe try to reach some of the teenagers who are spreading rumors about Kayla. There has been rumors that she was found in wausau with a 24 year old guy. Each time these rumors come up and someone calls Hope. It sometimes takes hours to find out they are not true. Imagine you are the mother of the girl who everyone is talking about…….. She is having the worst time right now. This whole thing has been absolutely horrible!! Please if everyone could pitch in to stop some of these nasty rumors floating around it would really be appreciated. Of course we want someone to go to the police and tell if they know something, like where she is, who is she with…. But there has been rumors that she was found on a reservation dead. or she was found in wausau, these rumors literally take hours to find out they are not true. It just cuts deeper everytime
I can’t even imagine why anyone feels the need to attack a missing child like this. Pure evil. As for the business that did not donate, yes I agree that sometimes you just can’t. However, it was said that some refused to even hang up a flyer. THOSE are the ones I would like to know about. THOSE are the ones I will not patronize again. Also, sounds like this Kevin Kielcheski should have been arrested two months ago. Why the wait? WHY?
I hope Kayla is found (alive and well) as much as the next person…However, according to the ADJ, why was a 15 year old child smoking THC with a 24 year old man? Let’s just hope that wasn’t the case
My guess is the police believe he knows more than he is saying and they are pressuring him to come clean. Hopefully this will provide the break needed to find Kayla.

I would just like everyone to please stop all of the blaming and he said she said…. Ann Kegler is the one that had the new banner made and put up and I thank her and the family for doing so! As far as people not putting up her poster I am not aware of that, but I do know that a couple of places did not want to donate because they did not want to be associated with the situation, with all of the rumors that keep going around. There were a lot of high emotions when all of this happened. From being severely angry at everyone to being severely depressed. People can not imagine the amount of emotions that can go through ones body when something horrifying happens to them. This hole situation has giving me a different outlook on humanity! I love my daughter with everything that I have to give and will not give up on her no matter what the case is!! I still am very stern about her not being a run away!! And the only thing that I want is my daughter back, I need some light to come to the end of this never ending tunnel!
I knew Kevin a little bit a while back….he had an affair with a married woman and he has done drugs in the past and is not all that reliable…..why if anything, would he wait until now to say something? Was he afraid that he would get into trouble….well guess what…it is worse for you now! Shame on you for not saying something before. He better tell everyone the truth and don’t hide anything….Kayla needs your help.
I think you’re a little confused, the police have known his story all along. He was the first person they interviewed and has told them everything from the beginning. That’s why they reduced his bail because if he wanted to elude police or run away, he would have already done it by now. I also pray that Kayla is found safe and sound very soon and that he had nothing to do with her disappearance.
Kayla’s sign on Superior St was wrapped around the pole, probably from the wind. Just want to let whoever know so they can get it back up.
I guess I assumed that he was a new suspect…sorry for any confusion. I don’t really hear everything. I am glad that he did come forward and talk to the police and is cooperating with them. Sorry about that Sherry. I to pray that she is safe somewhere. I often wonder if I did see her somewhere and didn’t even know it…I am sure there are some out there thinking the same.
I have to say this because it’s all I think about every night. Did he REALLY take her to Wausau? Did anyone actually see him in Wausau? Did anyone actually see Kayla in Wausau? Can he prove he was there? A reciept for gas? Anything? I just cannot imagine a pretty teenage girl like Kayla would go to Wausau to meet friends, without her purse. I was a teenage girl once. Would you have done this? Has Mr. Kielcheski taken a polygraph? Something about Mr. Kielcheski’s story is way, way off!
No problem antigomom, I think we all wonder if we are looking enough or in the right places everyday. I think just having our eyes open is a start, she has to be out there somewhere and at this point, God is the only one who knows for sure.
Any news on Kayla? I thought of her and her mom all day yesterday just hoping that because it was Thanksgiving someone might call. I can’t imagine being thankful for anything when your little girl is missing. So sad.
I have known kevin for years and kayla also.. from being around them both at the same time i can say kevin is innocent… he would never hurt a fly. all kevin did was give the girl a ride to wausau like kayla would do sometimes.. and kevin a nice guy says yes and she disapears… he took a lie detector test and past with flying colors… sorry people he is innocent.
There has still been now news on Kayla, tomorrow is Christmas Eve, a very hard time for our family. Kayla has been put on America’s Most Wanted web site. If anyone would like to check it out it is amw.com. She is one of their top stories.
I will say that I hope that they do find Kayla safe and sound and the more time goes on I strongly believe she is a runaway. Things just aren’t adding up. Also, I will say I am a little disappointed in some of the family as I have witnessed them taking the money from the cans that are set up around town and then spending it in the bar. One of these cans being at a bar, that was emptied in front of my eyes and then placed on the bar. I understand money is needed to keep things going and posters to be made, but that is where the money needs to be going to. People put money in there wanting to help find Kayla, not to support drinking habits.
