I keep seeing Kayla’s picture on Nancy Grace. So heartbreaking. Maybe this exposure will be what finally helps to find her.

There have been many applicants, perhaps a strong majority of whom actually believed they had some magical powers, but all have failed. There is no such thing as “psychic powers” regardless of anecdotal evidence of personal “witnesses”, regardless of TV shows, regardless of reports of psychic assistance on police cases. None of the reports survive scientific investigation. I wish I, or someone else, had the psychic power to zero in on the information needed to solve this case, but that’s strictly fantasy, driven by grief and despair, and a powerful desire to make things better.

Jerry- You are of course right, but I still feel there has to be something to psychic ability. I’ve read that even some police departments rely on certain psychics that eventually give them valid leads that solve cases. There’s a TV show called Medium that is based on a psychic that has helped a police department in Arizone for many years. I’m sure the show is very exaggerated for the TV audience, but they all swear that this woman is the real deal. I’m sure psychics are 99.9% phonies, but if it were my daughter missing, I would do anything and everything possible to find her, including at least trying to contact someone the police had worked with before. I’m sure you are correct that a real person knows something, but no one is talking and this girl is still gone.

ddddd, there are a lot of phony psychics out there because they are ALL phonies! Somebody out there has the real information on Kayla. We need to find that person, not waste time and hope on imaginary leads from charlatans.

I am so sorry Hope. I still look for Kayla every single day, everywhere I go. I still have you in my thoughts and prayers. How are you doing? I know it sounds silly to some, but have you tried to contact a psychic of some kind? I think there a lot of phonies out there, but I do believe some are for real.

No ddddd there has been nothing new in Kayla’s case. Were supposed to have Kevin’s trial on 2-16-11, but it has been canceled. At least that was the last thing I was told about a week ago.

@ People. She is not a runaway. She would have contacted someone by now. I don’t think she would let if go this far, Kevin being charged, fund raisers, knowing her mom is sto sad. Something happened to her that night And I think your comments were pretty nasty to her family. You should have wrote them in private. Pretty evil to talk bad about them here. As far Kevin goes, I don’t know what to think. His story is kinda fishy but then he did pass the lie detector test. It would be awesome if she is found sliver and well. I have a daughter her age and I cant imagine what you must be going through. Never give up hope and God bless you and your family.
