The Midtown carwash is in serious need of some help. You
have to pay $3.00 for a simple wash and the water just trickles
out of the stupid sprayer. I did not see a “comment” box
either, which isn’t surprising.
So, I would suggest going elsewhere to wash and/or spray
off your car or truck.
Midtown carwash is located on 7th Avenue, near the BP Gas
Station across from McDonalds.
The actual street address is 641 7th Avenue.

This place is and has been in need of help for years. I quit going there a few years ago. Unfortunately I have to drive by as part of my daily travels and there is usually garbage laying all over the place too. Surprisse the place is still operating. (kind of)
I will take your suggestion to go somewhere else and leave this suggestion for others “Dont go to the one across from the fair grounds either” You’ll pay more than $3- dollars just to get gritty dirty water thrown on your vehicle & be treated with disrespect to boot and that’s by the owner! I dont think he can find any employees – he’s hired just about everyone in Antigo and 99.9% quit within 2 wks. of being hired. He does not give you a break for lunch – makes you eat in between car washes and is a real jerk to work for. Ask anyone.
He is more than just a jerk to his employess. He physically assaulted his manager so bad that he has gone through 4 surguries so far on his shoulder! He has no us of his arm. This guy has 2 little Daughters that he has not been able to even pick up because of his abuse. He is taking him to court and the trial starts 10-08-2010. It is not just his employees that he hits – he has physically assaulted his girlfriend of 10 yrs. many times. She has had to get stitches, he has knocked her out cold,choked her,broken her finger, & left her black & blue beyond belief – & she is a whole 100 lbs. And he calls himself a man? She left with a 911 call to the Antigo Police. Then he has the balls to keep all of her belongings which fill up his house on Hwy. Y. She also is filing charges against him. This is not a “he said” “she said” case, she has actual video tapes of him assaulting her. Won’t his parents be proud. He is in for one big surprise. She should give a copy to the Shelter Home for Battered Women and let them use it in a commercial on abuse towards women. Maybe he will finally be exposed for who & what he really is and go to anger management b4 he kills someone.
Who owns Midtown Carwash and can the City of Antigo make them fix up their business. It used to be a really nice place in the 1990′s and now looks terrible.

Just went to vacuum my truck. West vacuum did not work, but took my money. East vacuum did not work, but took my money. How about posting an out of order sign. I consider this stealing.
Say goodbye to the old midtown carwash. Word is that it is going under new ownership. The new owners are replacing all the old equiptment with new improved equiptment .Start watching for improvements to happen soon. This information came from the shall we say horses mouth, I personally heard all the plans and know for a fact new equiptment has been purchased!!
Well the new owners have started working on the carwash. They spent the day cleaning up garbage from the establishment. now it is time for the community to pitch in and STOP dropping off garbage and every unwanted thing you have. These people are trying to clean it up and get it working properly for us . The new equipment was delivered and will start being installed as soon as the mess is cleaned up. I am looking forward to the day it is up and running and wish the new owners the best.
It’s great to see the place looking better than ever. I can’t wait to wash my car there when they open.
