To heck with the soap they need a new building. Have you been in there lately? We had to wash a couple of sleeping bags there and noticed that the inside looks as bad as it ever did. The old Strike Zone was in much better shape when the city took it down. My wife and I had a good laugh though when we saw what apeared to be a half eaten Pearson Nut Roll on display inside the glass of one of the vending machines there, but hey at least the package of Combos was full when I got them.

Save up and buy a washer and dryer. I’m pretty sure you can get used ones for less then $200 for the pair. Even with the costs of running it, you eventually save so much money they pay for themselves.

If you can’t get one because you live in an apartment ……. LOL then I think you’ve got bigger problems then not being able to wash your hands at the laundromat.

Yes it is state law to have soap on hand, however as “simplemind” said, people steal the stuff. There are people in this town that are pirates – will steal anything. My suggestion is similar…scarry soap with you, or pee somewhere else.
For “moving forward”, do you not wash your hands when you use a restroom? It’s called hygiene. Prevents illness. Especially in the laundromat on 5th ave.

Well by the looks of it, even local businesses are having to implement cost cutting measures to save money. To bad they couldn’t apply for Federal stimulus money to help with their business. Everyone else is doing things like that across the country to help their businesses stay afloat.

I know of a person who owned a laundromat and people would steal Handsoap, toilet paper, and paper towels as quickly as he stocked it.

Softsoap is on sale at Menards for 98 cents. Buy a bottle and keep it in your car.

if you use these places and you know they dont have soap then it’s real simple BRING YOUR OWN FRICKEN SOAP there problem solved
