I was just wondering when it became a one man band in the Antigo area……this person I am referring to has decided to make the decisions for other people’s property…like what a person does on his property…who can go on this persons property and so on……
Also, this particular person has decided when and how long it will take to finish road construction.
Okay….Mr. Del Nicholson has had secret board meetings and secret county meetings with zoning to regulate how one farmer in the area uses his own land.
Del owns and operates the Fuddfest….and he has continually harassed a farmer because this farmer chooses to use some of his land as “free” parking. Now….right down the road Del has parking for a fee…and granted it supposedly goes toward the town of Peck firemen but I have yet to see any changes from that money. So….Del does not want this farmer to allow free parking so he goes and uses his pull to get this farmer to have to pay a $5,000.00 fine PER CAR that is parked on his own land. Then…Del goes to the zoning board and this farmer has to install a septic system in this field???? and lighting…..? What does he need septic for? So the cars can pee at will?
To top it off…..the parking Del has and charges for……does not have a septic system..so what makes him so incredibly special that he can get away with it. How totally discriminating for the farmer because he is the only one who got the “new” ordinance. Then Dell goes to the road construction crew that is redoing the first part of highway C and tells them that he demands that the construction be finished before Fuddfest…….???/ Are you kidding me??? Who is he Del Nicholson to tell someone what they can and can not do with there land…or to tell road crews when they WILL be finished with something.????
Poor Del will lose money if the farmer has free parking…….like the Fuddfest does not make enough……

You know its an MONEY issue with Dell when HE has all these Langlade county agencies involved on trying to find any and every “and also making them up” on allowing Ron to do what he wants on HIS OWN PROPERTY. Del would of NEVER brought any of this up if it wasnt for money. And your dam right that he his getting a kick back from the town of peck fire dept. It is very plain and simple to see. And these people KNOW that they also VIOLATED the OPENS MEETING LAW with RON. And then certain people saying from the fire dept. that if Ron has a fire or emergency,, to let his property burn. I am thinking there is going to be fines handed out,, and maybe people fired and investigated for what they are doing and saying to a private land owner. I am seeing alot of back peddleing already. And yes,, Money Is a concern to the people that run the fuddfest and dont say its not. But now a few people have crossed the line with Ron ” A private land owner” ,,, and I bet your going to hear about it.

Time to let this issue go. All I can say is this is one persons problem and he knows who HE is.
So who loses out on the money from all the free camping? Oh yea Fudd does , and ask Ron of he s ever received free tickets from Fudd, cause the answer is yes to that as well. Now lets all talk good deeds.

So if what you are saying is that Ron got free tickets for the Fuddfest….why didn’ everyone else on the rad get free tickets to for ALL of their inconvenience…..and disruptions from Dels business? Or did they?
If Del is so nice…..as all of his chronies say…then he should be so “nice” and go to each neighbor and give them tickets to this business. After all….the neighbors all suffer too with the noise…the drunks….the traffic….the litter left behind….and the insistant bus running every five minutes…….
This is ridiculous. Almost everyone on here is slandering away. Alright, lets take a look at the Parking Fee Area….if you go down there you will see all men/women from the Town of Peck Fire Department waiting there ready to help you. There is noone else down there but Town of Peck Fire Fighters and EMTs. These are the same people that fight the house fires, barn fires, etc in the area. Also the same ones that do emergency medical treatment around the area. Oh and did I forget to say that they provide mutual aid to the surrounding areas???? The money that they raise from the parking goes towards all their equipment to help people in need. Yes Ron may be trying to be nice and offer free parking but that hurts the fire department when you have approx 200 cars there in one day. Figure that multiplied by $5. That’s $1,000 in one day that the fire dept could have used to keep their equipment in good working condition and keep the firemen/firewomen safe in their protective turnout gear that is very expensive. This is probably one of their biggest events to raise money for the fire dept. 100% of that money is kept for the fire department that is raised there. Oh and just a heads up: There are lights and outhouses there too!
I do not live in the town of Peck or in the surrounding areas…….but I must say this……I am an American….and I should be able to pick and choose to whom and to what I want to donate to.
Kudos for the fire department and for all your hard work and contributions…….but let the people make their own choice……as to what they donate to.

No one here said anyone would let Schreibers property burn down or not help them in an emergency, that was speculation and someone trying to fuel a fire here! Almost any person working on a fire/EMS department will tell you they do so to HELP people- anyone, anytime, no matter how much or little money, religious preference, race, etc. I don’t believe for one minute it is the Del or his family or friends who are trying to stop the farmer from giving free parking or camping to anyone. I think it is the government–by the people, FOR the people who do so; and they only do so because the farmer, Schrieber, has not (or will not) comply with the laws that will protect the people and yes, even Mr. Schrieber. Has the farmer ever notified his insurance carrier that he would have people parking/camping for free on his property? [I bet not, so if something happens to you or your property, you're all on your own, and maybe even your own insurance will not cover you] Is there insurance coverage there? Are there any sanitary/safety facilities there or provisions for such made? After pouring ones’ hard work and $$ into a farm, why would any resonable person GIVE it away, to strangers and chance losing it all over any sort of incident that could result in a lawsuit? IT HAPPENS, everyday! You say all of Del’s things state ‘at your own risk’; well, any attorney and insurance company will tell you that is merely a deterent, it really wouldn’t hold much water at all in a court of law, but it is required to be posted as an attempt to help protect those who work at the Fuddfest such as entertainers, bartenders, parking attendants, property owners, etc. Fuddfest pays enormous amounts for insurance to hold this event, thus, there are charges to attend (economics). I’m willing to say that most people that park ‘for Free’ do not know that there is no insurance coverage there for them, no health or safety provisions made for them, no permits for them to be there-or even that one is needed. Nothing bad at all about trying to save a buck, same as nothing bad about trying to make a buck, but it should all be done within the confines of the law and without [knowingly] harming others. Anyone posting here should also be FULLY honest and truthful. There never were any illegal/secret meetings by anyone, no new laws created and especially none soley for the farmer. There is no conspiracy. A good share of the zoning laws are created by the state and fined tuned by local [county] governments (they are dated on the books), and attempts are made at enforcement of same for all, not just for a select few as alleged. I think we are all for free enterprise, no one is trying to stop anyone-everyone just has to do it the same way–the right way! The point of all Schriebers’ baseless allegations is that he can’t have his way, doing it the way he wants to with no regard for the laws, regulations, zoning, etc., and so he thinks he should make everyone else the bad ones for it-a scapegoat (or hog as he rudely says in this case).
As far as donating or not donating to whom ever, in this case, the fire dept.—if you have your oil changed at Parson’s, do you tell them you do not or will not give them any $$ because you won’t donate to their ’cause of the month’? Do you not purchase anything hauled by Karl’s Transport because they donate a lot of $$ to many organizations throughout Langlade County and beyond? Where is it that YOU DO do your business??? Almost any business place that most people know of willingly donates time, money, materials, etc. to a lot of different causes, and many times NO ONE ever hears about how much it is they gave or what it is they did. Businesses could not do this without their most valuable asset, their customers, whom they try to treat like the best guests they ever have, same as Del does. If you do not want to attend Fuddfest, stay home and don’t complain about what you then have no knowledge of or about. Just because you attend an event, don’t think you really know what happens the other 360 days a year, or that those people are making a fortune hand over fist with their fingers in every pot!
Langlade County and the entire world would be a lot better off if all of us could simply join hands and work together without name calling, jealousy, and hatred. Respect other people and their views, sometimes we have to agree to disagree and move on to the next item of business.
The farmer may say that his parking and camping are all for free, but I have seen the ‘DONATION’ cans on his property every year he has had this. That does not sound free to me. Where do/did his ‘donations’ go to?Schrieber DID GET FREE tickets to Fuddfest in the past, don’t know about anyone else. To say that all neighbors should be given free tickets is to say that we should get free airplane seats/rides because the airplanes make so much noise day and night by my house. I should get free milk because the farmers’ barnyard stinks up our neighborhood and their tractors run in the fields until late at night, and down the roads, many times causing excess damage. Perhaps the other neighbor should give me free automotive care too as sometimes he’s working on vehicles at his house into the evening with loud running engines? The kennel down the road has those darn loud barking dogs that never seem to quit, how can they compensate me? Then, on Monday nights, I have to listen to that music in the park; not my kind of music, and they park the streets full for blocks…….THIS IS LIFE!! Be tolerant, get over it, get along, work together!! It’s in the best interest of yourself, your friends, neighbors, and family. Let’s all help make this community the best it can be! This whiny post should have been pulled from the start. If you want a public/community buzzboard, why not try to make it productive? It’s not a bad thing to point out negatives, but if one does so, then they should also try to help come up with a solution to make it better, how to implement it, and try to help. Anyone can hide behind a screen and key a bunch of lies and hurl nasty, uncalled for comments, that really is a no-brainer. What I see here (after reading through several years of mean, spiteful, jealous, liablelous posts) are some people who appear to have too much time on their hands as they can sit back and key this garbage about so many people/things that it sounds like many really know not that much about. Bad food at the restaurant? Let the owners know, give them a suggestion, another chance to rectify it. My God, someone’s daughter is missing, and you cast stones??? Done is done, help find her, or if you have information, take it to the authorities. Help make everyone here safer by offering suggestions or assitance as to how to do so. Bad physician advice? I think people know how you feel now. Go to the legislature, medical societies, discuss with them personally, don’t slander individuals. If you don’t want to participate, donate, help, live here, or even read the local paper—then don’t, but DO simply GET ALONG–’DO NO HARM’!!!!

F.Y.I. Note–roads to Fuddfest are still under construction, so apparently Del wasn’t as successful as Schriener says about the road construction—-or for the real truth of even that—probably, the Del never even said a word to the construction people!

Sounds to me like an actual threat…….let’s see….now if we go back and trace that blog….we would probably find the persn who wrote it….andI will bet you ten to one that it was written by none other then a Town of Peck fire department volunteer. Did you know that that is considered a threat and is against the law. And regarding the road construction…..if you may have noticed…,it has not been the best weather for the road crew to finish black topping…so poor Del did not get his wish or demand met.
The donations you highly regarded that Ron put in place last year….was only because Del made such a fuss over the FREE parking and went crying like a Nancy boy to the town and that rule of charging for parking was his idea….NOT Ron’s.
Apparently…..Del, as nice as he may be…..is a little Nancy boy who can not fathom the thought of someone else being classified as “a nice person” because Del is not making any profit from it.

Do you know for sure Ron did not get extra insurance for people parking on his land for FREE?
Do you know for sure Ron did not give those donations to help find missing children?
Do you know for sure that the Town of Peck fire department would help Ron after the statement made?
Do you know for sure that the people living near big airports do not get some saving if they fly?
I would be willing to bet “NO” would be your answer to all of the above.
As far as the donations…..Town of Peck receives many grants….tax payers money…and donations from outside sources…….so what is so wrong with letting a person choose what they want to donate to…….like for instance…I would donate to Langlade County Humane society before I would donate to…let’s say….the firemen’s summer picnic.

Wow! First of all people should only be commenting if they are informed and understand what they are talking about. I see a lot of slander and speculation that reflects the lack of knowledge in some of these people. This situation is getting out of hand and will not be resolved with ignorant people calling others names. If something is posted that you don’t like, post your thoughts, but do so in an appropriate manner and do not act childish! The neighbors can not expect to receive free tickets (and some do not seem to want them anyway) because they think Fuddfest is an inconvience to them; as Peace stated those who live near a farm do not get compensated for the stench or noise and that continues year round. Fuddfest only lasts for five days and has adequate security and follows all regulations in place. The farmer (along with any other people) should not expect free tickets especially if they dislike Fuddfest or Del as is being expressed. Plus, even if the neighbors wanted tickets and Del provided them, where would he draw the line? Del can give tickets to anyone he would like to, but that wouldn’t solve the issues the neighbors seem to have. The factor of the farmer having free parking or charging for parking is his decision; the issue at hand is that he needs to provide adequate security and follow all of the insurance and regulatory measures that are required. As far as the amount of money Del makes, it is really nobody’s business. Fuddfest is a business; however like all businesses, there are so many expenses involved and hard-work that most people would not want to be in his position. If you do not want any of your money to go to Fuddfest then simply don’t go, but Fuddfest brings in a lot of business for the entire community and is enjoyed by so many. To eveyone: think before posting anything, there are so many people who do not know what they are talking about and just continue their ignorance, it is not helpful and causes them to look ridiculous!
As a proud northern Wisconsin resident, landowner, and business person, I am ashamed and embarrased that anyone would post the initial blog in the manner in which they did. The complaint could have been made more eloquently without names or name-calling & finger-pointing. Remeber that there are laws against slander as well! Imagine what any potential visitors think of us all?!?! No one wants to hear anyone being called obscene words, stupid, idiot, etc. People use these simple minded words only because THEY are not intelligent enough to use a different word, [limited vocabulary]! I have noted in many of these posts that people who claim to’know’ so much, really don’t know the truth at all, or they are not telling the whole truth. Example: Mr. Farmer, did NOT BUY his Fuddfest ticket(s)-they were GIVEN to him by someone. NO ONE had any secret meetings. Any/all meetings are properly posted as required by state law and as dictated by county ordinances which I THINK is probably posting (in various business/public places) and in the Antigo Daily Journal (so sorry if you do not subscribe, but perhaps you get the Journal Express) and maybe in the Shoppers Guide; which ever publication the Town or County has designated by ordinance as the official place of publication. Additionally, the County tries to send out notices to adjoining property owners/those people that may be affected or interested to the best of their ability/knowledge. They are not mind readers, so if no one lets them know they want a notice, how would they know you want to try to attend? These are like the same kind of notices people get to attend their city, town, county, etc. board meetings. Did you ever see how many actually attend those, only to complain later? There are NO NEW ORDINANCES for Mr. Farmer or anyone else, all apply to everyone equally.
We all know about ZONING laws….Is Mr. Farmers’ property zoned for ag, commercial, residential, or what? Remember that ag lands get astronomical tax breaks, where as commercial properties get hit hard. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. If and when Mr. Farmer gets the proper zoning, permits, etc. as all other businesses must do, he can charge or not charge, that is entirely up to him, and no one else’s business!! Quite frankly, I don’t think most of us even care what he does. Please be sure though that proper facilities and potential provisions are made for anyone who would use those faciltites such as what you, as the land owner providing the service will do if a fire breaks out, someone get ill or injured, a tornado strikes, etc. If you have no permit to hold your function, then no one will be aware or prepared/on stand-by to assist should anything happen. The people that would use your facility probably just assume you have this all considered and taken care of same as all other buisinesses do-including small Town owned Parks, the same as Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, etc. If you look at the back of signs along the roadside you will see that they even have permits on them! Others actually check on those permits not so much to see if we are following the law, but more so as a courtesy to US, to see if things are safe or OK. Did you know that when a permit is issued, as example, Fuddfest, MANY proper authorities are alerted? Law enforecement, to check on safety issues, fire departments are alerted to possible potentials and on a higher stand by due to the higher volume of people at one place for the given amount of time (yes, they check this out and PREPARE), EMS, not just from your township, but many all around, extra provisions are required and made for the safety of the people, health inspectors check on food stands, the list is long; permit info. is published so other businesses have a ‘heads up’ so that they can be prepared ahead and ready to attend to the needs and economics of extra people, and so the list goes on.
SIMPLY put…..yes, by all means, do as you please with your property, but do it in the same manner as others and so that the health and safety of your neighbors and guests are your top priority. Perhaps Mr. Farmers FREE was a good deed in the begining the same as Mr. Del’s free birthday party was a good time/deed (free) in the begining, but I think Del learned that free couldn’t continue when the time came to get the proper zoning, permits, etc. to continue with the growing party, at which point it turned into a business! How did that come to be so bad? Is Mr. Farmer so wealthy he really can afford to give free parking and camping when doing so will cost him so much money? If he is, good for him, go for it, I believe that even Del would be for that!! If Mr. Farmer does not want the Fire Dep. to make their own extra money in this manner from the Fuddfest, that’s O.K. too, they could always just ask for that money from the regular Town budget as other Departments do with a lot less work for them! If the Free parking & camping really is free, what are those ‘DONATION’ cans for on the farmers property that we’ve all seen other years? What is that money for, who does it go to?
I work hard all year long for many years, I saved my money, and I am going to the Fuddfest. I don’t care too much who gets what money, it’s the same if I went to a concert anywhere else that I wanted to enjoy, none of that would be free either. Fuddfest is the best Country Music party in the state, for less money than most of the other summer-time music festivals and we all get treated great. HAPPY FUDDFEST!!!
In the jungle, there are no laws because people can get along even when they diasagree; they very basically follow simple codes of ethics for themselves. We do not live in a society like that unfortunately. Today, we have people that have no basic ethics, no respect for others-not even an opinion. It appears that there is rampant jealousy among a few here. Some think laws do not apply to them equally or that they are picked on, singled out when they don’t perhaps have the slightest clue what others HAVE done to get where they are today. The grass is always greener on the other side! I am not sucking up to anyone. I have a mind of my own and try my best to be a good neighbor and friend to all, help out anyone, stand up for what is right even when it is unpopular. On the flip side, I am not trying to cast stones at anyone as some of these posts so quickly and slanderous do. It is far better to try to create peace and harmony among all. No one gets their landowner or other rights stripped from them! If things are so bad in the Town of Peck, Langlade County, WI-USA….MOVE! When a landowner gets the proper permits, zoning, inspections, facilities, etc. they will be more than welcomed by anyone to do what it is that they desire with their own property (the same as all others have/had to do), and no one wil care if they give away their services for FREE or if they charge an exhorbitant price. At that point it is no one else’s business but the landowner/business person. It should go without saying that then the guest or customer will pick where/who they chose to patronize (or not) but at least they would be safe and really provided for. I am thinking that if the farmer got the proper credentials [same as everyone else], although many people may be saddened to see the fire dept. lose the extra money they raise, even Del would not care if his [farmer] property were open to the public for free.
For Horse Shoe: Get an education, or use it if you have it! Your post makes no sense, you couldn’t even intelligibly address a single issue here. It appears by your spelling, ranting, and $$ sign use that you are very concerned with money without the hard work, time, dedication….it takes one to achieve. In the end, money won’t bring you happiness. Educate yourself and you might learn the whole truth, proper procedure, and most of all, patience and tolerance. Hope I’m not your [close] neighbor!

I can’t for the life of me understand why the Antigo Daily Journal hasn’t sent its crack investigative reporting team to explore the issue in an intelligent, articulate, dispassionate, rational, informative article or series. Small town newspapers deal with small town stories, don’t they? Fred Berner could do a pictorial series with riveting photos of the new asphalt on Cty C, fields where someone migh tpark some day, stunning close-ups of the Peck Town Hall front entrance doorknob and hinges….

The work on Hwy C needs to be completed before Fudd Fest? That work should have been completed a month ago.. If I am not mistaken, I think the original plan was to have that work complete by first few weeks of July.
Antigo has a long history of corruption.. Most of the “Boss Hogs” are gone, they either died off or got voted out. I think Antigo is better place now than it was 15 to 25 years ago.
Just as no person is perfect, no community is perfect. I didn’t take much time to study the situation.. But, sometimes you have to offer exceptions to people who bring business, revenue, and prosperity to an area.
I went to see the information posted on the farmers field driveway, Very interesting. As a land owner myself, it would be a cold day in hell “especially after reading his posted info.” that I would be told what I can do on my own property and who could come and go, and park on my property. It would definately go to court. What they are doing to this land owner definately looks illegal, and really does give you a good impression that there is alot of money and certain peoples pull affecting the county agencies and sheriffs dept. Its not hard to see that.
Now I heard that many land owners are seriously thinking about shutting down their snowmobile trails because of this. I am definately for this. Maybe it will send a signal to all the Fudd people, that like to use the trails often,,, ” that Del is a real jerk” and a real piece of work along with any langlade county agencies railroading land owners.

Snowmobile Trails vs Fuddfest.
Everyone talks about business and Revenue. I will guarantee, the trails brings in WAY MORE business and revenue than the fuddfest ever would.
The trails are normally open for THREE MONTHS.
Property owners also dont get paid a thing for letting snowmobilers use the trails. The land owner pays the property taxes and lets them ride for FREE.
ALSO,,, I dont see outhouses or lightening on every land owners trail.
I also see people peeing and crapping on the trails… OH, I also see garbage on the land owners trails. OH,, I also see Farmer Ron has a snowmobile trail running through HIS PROPERTY. Del,,, Langlade County and the other idiots posting on here should maybe really think before you spout off at the mouth. I BET alot of you snowmobilers and 4-wheelers would really hate to have 10 or 12 land owners shut them down.. DOES ANYONE SEE THE SAME DIFFERENCE HERE.
Horseshoe did you also know that Dell has a snowmobile trail going threw his property? He pays his taxes and also donates his time to groom the trails! You better get a life and stop putting blame on people when you donteven know the facts! I’m just not sure why anyone would want to ruin a very fun event for everyone else. If you don’t like it don’t go. And that includes the ones sneaking in from the property along the north overflow doesn’t it Ron.
Hey anonomous…..Ron had nothing to do with calling the DNR you dufuss……as a matter of FACT it was the radio station telling a story on how wet it was at the Fuddfest and that a bridge was built……so do you not think that the DNR listen…and wonder why someone would be so stupid as to build a bridge in Federally protected WETLAND without the DNR questioning where the permits were?
I work in the office…and we got a total of 29 calls pertaining to that bridge. Believe it or not…..Ron is not the only person on that road that is pissed at Del and his greed. There are more people out there that are sick of his “above the law” attitude…..
Now…let us mention also the incident with the truck load of minors in BACK of a truck that the main gate did not stop…and the fact that Del and his chronies all chirped on here about how that Fuddfest laws are followed…..where were they when all the minors were drinking….and do not even say that the security did not notice anything. They stopped people from walking on H….but they did not stop the truck LEAVING the main grounds with all those kids on the back of the truck. Leave Ron alone….he is not the only person having a cow over Del’s crap.
If land-owners choose to allow/not allow snowmobilers on their land, that is their prerogative. It would be very unfortunate, though, if they decided to not allow snowmobilers as a retaliation to this particular debate/situation. Most snowmobilers are VERY appreciative and courteous. Land-owners are invited to “appreciation” dinners and parties by local snowmobile clubs to show their appreciation. Also, I know thank-you’s are printed in the ADJ and Shoppers Guide each year to land-owners as well.

If they were stopped SEVERAL times by who ever,,, How come the fuddfest so called security didnt get an on site officer and have them arrested for underage drinking????????? Everyone on here sits there and praises Del for all the security…and praises Del for all the EMT volunteers…..but now in light of the many accidents…and the near fatal one that occurred just off the FUDD grounds from someone leaving the FUDD grounds….we can all see how wonderful those security guards worked. I feel so safe….next year…I think I will camp in the farmers field…..as I know he does not have such quality security…somehow I feel safer knowing that.
A snowmobiler…..I agree that it would be very sad for the land owners to shut off the trails….but in light of all the crap posted on here on how mean and viscious the farmer is….can you really blame him? I really do not believe it is his fault that Del had to be so greedy……and in my point of view…and I am not saying I am right…but if the farmer tried to do a good deed by having free parking …and got shut down by Del…..why would he want to go ahead and give free trails…..why…..so Del and his chronies can taunt him more when they snowmobile on his land…..if it were me…..I would shut my trail down just to let Del know he is not the perfect little guy people thinks he is……
Last but not least…..you people need to let this go……focus on the important thing……no one got killed in that horrific accident at the Fuddfest……thank GOD……
Maybe this will be a wake up call for Del and the farmer that greed and free are just not as important as someones life…….and maybe next year…barring there is a next year for FUDDFEST…..Del will think of the people’s safety instead of the almighty buck…and selling and allowing minors to drink on his property.

Horse Shoe, YOU are the one who does not know a thing. The truck went out an exit to the road that is not monitored. There WERE several other vehicles stopped with people in the back by security and other Fuddfest workers. With that many people moving around, every incident is not going to be avoided, every situation is not going to be caught, and kids are going to get away with stuff. It happens at ANY event you go to, whether it be an NFL or MLB game or any local concert in the park. If there are enough people involved, incidents are going to happen. It is no ones fault but the kids who were involved. They shouldn’t have been drinking, they shouldn’t have been riding in the back of the truck, they shouldn’t have been acting like idiots. They can sue Dell and Fuddfest all they want, but simply put, its just another example of people not taking responsibility for their own actions. And the parents are as much to blame. Everyone around this area knows what happens at Fuddfest. If the parents didn’t know, they were wearing blinders and are as big of idiots as their kids. And I GUARANTEE you those kids were NOT served by ANY Fuddfest workers. More likely, the alcohol was bought by the parents who want to blame Dell and Fuddfest. Again, blame someone else for their own stupidity.
I agree that it is unfortunate that a small group is trying to ruin a GREAT event for so many people. Thousands of people come here to attend the shows and give their money to all the local businesses. There’s little to no disruption in the lives of the folks who do not want to attend. Possibly some additional traffic…woo hoo…lock up the dog and make sure the cows don’t get out. The agreements (and even the DISagreements) that Dell has with the local farmers and land owners is between them and the rest of you should really stay out of it.

I myself would like to thank Fudd and his family for the great entertainment and fun for all for the week. Myself and family and friends had a great time at this event. I do find it sad that this other family is casting so many stones at everyone.

The first stone cast was from Del himself….that blew up into this massive BS session on here. Now everyone is throwing stones at the farmer…..and at the neighbors…and at the farmer…….take a look at the big picture here people…..Del did not want the farmer to have free parking….now all of that trickles down to the snowmobile trails….and one neighbor saying crap about another…and Helds bar and someone nt willing to put out the fires…and….and …and….could you all just knock it off and grow the hell up? This is between The farmer and the Del…..no one else…..and if either of them drag the neighbors in this……it is between them……who gives a flying poo what he said and she said and who is to blame for what…….Let farmer and Del duke it out and leave the neighbors alone. It is sad that the people got hurt out side of the Fuddfest grounds, My heart goes out to them and their famly. All my EMS personal worked thier butts off 24-7 We all are dedicated to all the Fudders and try to make it a safe event. We took ice and made up ice packs and cold water to all just to keep them hydrated and on several occations we told people who wer riding in back of trucks to get down. They would until they got around the corner and got right back in. I know next year this will not be allowed. As of the under age drinking I myself saw kids drinking with the parents at the camp sites. And again this is Wisconsin law that they can. That is sad also. If any one can give us suggestions I sure would listen. A big THANK YOU to all my EMS personal you are the best. See you next year

It is a shame that the accident happened at all. Fuddfest is a place to come and have safe fun…get away..and be entertained with great bands.
My suggestion for next year……..put in the rules of the park that NO underage drinking will be allowed…with or without parent consent. I know it is a Wisconsin law……but if Del can change some rules and ordnances to fit him…he can change that one…for his event…..and I am not tryig to be sarcastic here…..just stating reality. If ayone has any info on the kids well being…please post so we all know how they are…..thanks.
All are fine from the accident. The driver stated he was extremely sorry and wished he would have used better judgement.
