Antigo Area Shoppers Guide is Now Closed

As of Dec. 2, the doors have closed at the Antigo Area Shoppers Guide & News. Five full-time employees and 20 carriers have lost their jobs and all benefits without prior notice just in time for the holidays, thanks to Journal Community Publishing.

    About the same as the chances of a snowball in Hell, I would say. Fred is already salivating over the prospect of taking over where the Shopper guide left off without spending a single additional hard-squeezed nickel. Watch for a boom in inserted ad flyers in the ADJ.

    But you have to PAY for the ADJ. Shoppers Guide was free. Is ADJ worth $100 a year? Hell no..
