As mentioned in the ADJ recently, the former M&L Restaurant, also recently known as Lisa’s Restaurant, has been sold. The lights have been on & work is being done inside the building lately. I’ve heard that quite a bit of work needs to be done on the interior.
Many years ago, when M&L Restaurant was housed there, I can recall the place being open 24 hours a day. If the new owner decides to remain open all hours, they would be the only restaurant in town to do so, well, besides McDonald’s Drive Thru, but that hardly qualifies as “Restaurant” food.

UPDATE 06/09/11 - There was a notice in the ADJ that M&L Restaurant is NOW open with hours of 5:00am to 9:00pm. Phone number is 715-623-3459. They are hiring also, please apply in person.

Thanks for the tip.. Not sure if anyone is aware of this.. The Corner Cafe in Summit Lake closed down.. I believe the old owners may take it back.. The place looks empty though as if the tables, and everything was gutted out.
Word has it that the end of the month M & L will be closing its doors once again. I feel bad for the people employed there once again people will be out of work.
I heard this also, but also heard there were some ppl that were interested in buying it, I hope they can keep it open
