I’m wondering if someone can tell me what is going on with the wading pool at City Park? I took my son there today to go swimming and the pool isn’t even filled up with water yet? I thought they usually had it open around Memorial Day? I’ve looked on the internet, but, didn’t find anything saying when it will be open and ready for use.
UPDATE 6/29 - from the City of Antigo website: As of June 29, the wading pool is open. Hours are 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, 7 days per week. There is no life guard on duty.

They just had an article in the ADJ last night about the wading pool. They are doing some much needed work to it and are looking that it being open in a couple weeks.
My son and I were there AGAIN on June 24th and it was still locked to the public. Water was in it (was it just rainwater??) I have no idea, but I noticed the pools needing maintainance…should have been done by now! Another disappointing day…:-(
That is disappointing…..I hope they get it open soon!!
Maybe it will not be opened because it would take business away from the Aquatic Center.
