Yesterday I read some chatter on social media that the FBI and DEA were in Antigo for drug busts. There was also mention that the busts were “big name” people and a few people even talked about Coaches and Teachers.
Today, I see that WSAW has reported that John Lund, who is Principal at a West and Pleastview Elementary Schools and also a football Coach, has been put on PAID Administrative leave. They are not giving a reason for this.
There is nothing yet posted on the Wisconsin Court site, and I am really hoping that this is not something that will be swept under the rug, like many other things in Antigo.
I would love to hear more information on this.

In Satuday’s (12/10/11) paper, the Antigo Daily Journal reported that the Antigo School Board had a closed session today (Monday) regarding the administrative leave of John Lund. You can read the full article HERE.

In regards to the two men here…. Dr. Moore works at the hospital and it is their mission to reach out and help its employees with their problems…. no matter what the problem is…. and he does not work with teach and influence our children. Mr. Lund works for our school system and that is a different matter. Just saying
In addition to the last post,, the hospital did not just let him keep his job, nor did they just give it back to him.. I am sure he was very closely monitored
for drug use and went through some type of rehab etc. and he had to earn his way back and earn the respect of every one again.. not an easy task… but a win, win outcome.
A doctor doesn’t work with our children? wow, great win, win situation. I hope i never need medical assistance in this town, always comforting knowing that if you’re in a life or death situation, the guy operating could be stoned out of his mind. I think i’d rather have my teacher high during class than my doctor high during surgery…Good logic though “worksathospital”….I guess this explains why everyone prefers making the trip to wausau for any important medical conditions.
Also, doesn’t Lund deserve the same chance to earn back respect? The hypocrisy on this site is mind blowing…

The biggest hurt to the kids is the continuing lies about pot. They will not know who to believe. Above all do not lie to the children. When they are mature enough let them decide if they want to try the pot, but make sure you tell them and its very important, do not abuse. Its up to every parent to give guidance, just as I did with my six children. Its very hard to explain to them about medical marijuana, and the government keeps brainwashing about the evil, which is pure bs. Some people can handle the pot, some people cannot physically or mentally tolerate it. Those that can’t should not use it for the rest of their life. Trust me, you will know if you can or can’t. I have seen many people who can’t. Remember, just say no. In no way am I condoning usage. Its up to the individual.

@jaja – Now you have really lost me. I will try to word things differently so maybe you will understand, What is it that makes you say that things will be happening in June? Is this something that someone told you or are you referring to the newspaper headline that the “Cocaine charged person goes back to court in June” or what?

Its time to let go of the past and move on and part of that is to end the lund , schofield peterson era in football coaching. I know Antigo would love Tom schofield for head coach but we need new faces and not all the drama anymore of the good o boy network!

H.Hill spin master and you are! I always taught my kids networking will help you get a job FACT. These families are awesome but for Antigo the time to move on and not live in the past anymore is now. A fresh start is in order it pains me all the negative news about Antigo to all these families that made Antigo proud thanks and to the new people welcome sorry H Hill your wrong!
