Looks Like Antigo Coach/Principal Finally Charged
According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court website, a person John R. Lund, with a date of birth of 12/13/1964 has been charged with multiple counts of Manufacture/Deliver THC, Maintain Drug Trafficking Place, and Possess w/Intent THC. I would assume that this is the same John Lund that has been placed on Administrative Leave by the Antigo School District.

I agree that there must be consequences to actions. My concern however is that for the majority of the men on the “list” from the criminal complaint, those consequences are going to be a lot more severe than they should be. How sad. Some people just feel the need to be hurtful, judgemental, deflamatory, etc.
I, myself, have mixed feelings about “hiding behind a Username” when I post. In all honesty, I wish I had the character to post my comments under my real name. I think I need to revisit that. Most bloggers here use a Username in lieu of their real names which is common place in the Blog World.
However, if I were to guess, at least half of the bloggers on this site have something, somewhere on Wisconsin Access. Much more often than not the reported material on CCAP has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
I no longer live in the area, but have strong ties to the community. I have enjoyed reviewing the Antigo Buzz as I have a genuine interest in the community. However, I am finding it more and more difficult to be a part of any of this. In many ways it has just become intolerable due to bullying, spite, jealousy, fabrication, etc- you name it.
These comments are posted on the World Wide Web. Anyone can view this site.
I have had friends residing in my current city who have read some of these posts and have half-jokingly remarked that I am fortunate and wise to have left Antigo.
Does anyone ever think about how some the immature, self-indulgent and slanderous remarks reflect the reputation of this community?
Please exercise some sense of pride and respect in your town/area and, perhaps, re-read and put some real thought into your remarks before hitting SEND.
Who knows? Maybe you or a member of your own family may the subject matter of the next thread.

Perthaps those those on social programs for example Badgercare, etc should be drug tested so tax payers can know how they spend their time/dollars in the privacy of their homes and while on vacation.

After many phone calls, texts, emails all from friends asking me WTF is going on with you and your wife on antigobuzz and the only ansewer i can give is i dont know , what was posted on here inch high private eye and the ccap thing was true cant hardly say that wasnt true but sometimes things happen i chalk that up to young and dumb . I think posting peoples C Cap info is awful! So these poor people filed for bankruptcy? This is not child molestation here, or drunk driving. Things have been hard in this world for many people! I myself am on C Cap for foreclosure in which I had zero to do with! My ex-husband owns the house that I signed over to him in our divorce, but the bank will not let me off the mortgage even though the house has not been mine for years. Unless he refinances (no bank will take him) I am out of luck! I have spoken to attorneys about this and I can not do much about the situation. But I am judged by this even though I am blameless.

What started out as a good old gossip site has turned into class warfare,

When people comment on other people’s past, present or future as a means to discredit the validity of their posts/ opinions it is a bad day in Antigo (or anywhere). Or is it a normal day?? After re-reading through the slew of posts
on or related to this topic, one truth has come to light: people in this town have very distinct opinions regarding their fellow man/ neighbor. There are so many posts bashing “the elite” the “powers that be” whatever term used to describe someone who apparently makes more money than you do…Here is something to think about: someone will always make more than you/ be better off than you/ drive a better car/ own a better house etc etc…and just because that person or group of people do exist it does not give anyone a right to judge someone’s character on the basis of their socio-economic standing.
Get a grip people, your life has moved on since day one of this drama and I am amazed at how it somehow affects your lives so directly. Give it wings-
The thing with a small town like this is that everyone here knows, is related, or at least grew up with everyone else. And you are completely right about about everyone having a past and shouldnt throw too many stones. A couple things really do irritate me about this. For one the embarrassment that this has been put on the Antigo school system is absolutely horrible. Secondly some of these guys were much too “high on themselves” to even acknowlege the same people that fed them or even say hi at a class reunion. So if for one second anyone thinks that most needs to feel sorry for them, well your wrong. It may be a bit childish but at least there is some satisfaction in earning a living in an honest way. So just maybe someone is teaching our children something valuable after all.
@ moving forward. Your comments make sense to me, however if our children are to be taught a valuable lesson, the punishment will have to fit the crime. If a lot of plea bargaining takes place and the coach and teachers are given a slap on the hand, will this be a lesson to our children, or will they think Mom and Dad are just old fashioned in OUR line of teaching?

They are also aware that pot is not legal in the state of Wisconsin for “pleasure.” They know if they use it, sell it or have it on their possession, they are breaking the law, and will, or should, be penalized!

What I was referring to was that 1972 president nixon started the movement for the war on pot. Do you think there is a difference between medical marijauna and recreational marijuana? There is no difference, just the physical, mental or visual effects of the different strains. All of these strains can be used or abused. Do you think its ok for our goverment to give guns and money to the mexican cartels? That is what they are doing to keep our hard earned tax money. Its not to stop the war its to keep it going!
