$25,000 bond set for Bryant man on sexual assault charges
According to Court records, the State of Wisconsin is asking for $25,000 cash bond for Robert Pavek, who has been accused of 2 counts of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of Child, 2 counts of 1st Degree Child Sex Assault -Sexual Contact with Person under Age of 13, and 1 count of Incest.
Apparently a warrant had been issued, served and vacated, he appeared via video for court today. He is set to return to court on February 20, 2012.

Bob wasnt the only person with these problems in this area, his neighbors south west of him a bit are not strangers to social services being called on them either. Im not saying that its right, but just because they have a reptated name doesnt always make them better. And they know who they are as well.
I would like to set a few things straight here. I have known this family for like 15 yrs and yes I feel bad for the girls that it involves BUT Bob Pavek’s daughters knew that this was happening. One of Bob’s granddaughters came forward 3 yrs ago and told her mother (bob’s daughter) and they (bob’s daughters) chose to do NOTHING about it! They chose to side with their horrible father so like I said I feel bad for the girls that were hurt but there are some members of that family that are just as guilty as he is and should face punishment also!!!

Once again people keep babbling about things they don’t know. Does it really matter at this point how long it took for the allegations to come out? Considering the age of the victims, fear had to play a big part of the families decision to handle it how they chose to. Fear of public scrutiny, of being punished by the one accused of the crime, and simply being labeled by others as the one’s. The parents probably instinctively wanted to protect their children from those things. Only after it came to light that it happened to another child were they able to overcome those fears. We don’t know. What we do know is that the victims can read and the constant barrage of misguided statements only hurts them worse. Go forward from here, this is horrible thing thats happened. The family is not denying it, just grieving. What does this have to do with the mink buisness? That buisness has put thousands, maybe millions of dollars into the economy of Antigo. If I spent my life as a butcher ina beef slaughter house, does that make desensitized and unable to discern right from wrong when it comes to sexual offenses? What a ludicrous statement. There are a couple very intelligent people with experience attempting to treat the situation wisely but also one or two (probably Paveks by their handicapped writing and grammar skills) posting in multiple names vulgarly going on the offensive spewing hate and lies in a classic rationale of denial,saying;”where’s the denial?” This ,for those intelligent enough to perceive it,is classic denial.Those who matter do know that people “like that” have a genetic factor.This is a family sickness a family crime a family secret. I would like to first say that I am so sorry to all of you “Pavek’s” for the terrible ordeal that you are facing, especially the young ladies that were vicitimized to begin with. I would also like to apologize for all the hateful remarks from others on this site. I do believe that you will endure this and that ALL families have good and bad members…and the good will persevere. I know many of you and I think you are outstanding people. As for the remarks on mink, well we all have opinions and everyone has a right to those opinions, although I have read many “hate” comments here and I feel for you. I know that you are hardworking and use the best of integrity when dealing with your business. I also know that we cannot be liked by everyone and that is ok, we probably don’t like everyone ourselves. I am putting my real name here and not hiding behind some pretentious name.
I would like to address the rest of you that are making remarks that are unjust. A lot of the people that you are attacking have done nothing and how unfair for you to say such disrespectful things without calling yourself out for them to do the same….that is what they call a coward. Fair is Fair. Let them know your name, business, family and then only then do you have the right to post such tragic remarks.

I agree… this is the act of one person in that family, and god forbid if someone else knew. The raising of mink does not offend me at all and it is no different that eating beef, eggs, chicken, and even fish that are ranch raised. I knw many of the Paveks and they are not bad people and are probably downright sickened by this… just like us.

So irritated- if you were aware three years ago that this abuse was happening, you knew the parents did nothing to protect their children, and you did nothing nor reported the crime yourself then you are as guilty as the parents. Child abuse is a very complicated and sensitive crime and there are no two cases that are dealt with the exact same way by victims and victim’s families. I give mad props to the brave young girls who were victimized for coming forward and you have more strength than most adults. Hold your head high because you have nothing to be ashamed of. I did not know that being a mink rancher made you an “anti social criminal”. Where did you do your study? The Paveks I know don’t show any anti-social behavior nor are they criminals . It’s unfortunate that the criminal Paveks make the rest of them look bad, but there’s bad in every family. I’m not a Pavek or a mink rancher and I don’t live in the same state. You struck out. One thing is sure, the crime was committed by one person, it has hurt alot of good people, devastated several young people and put a sore on a large community. We can agree on this. I have known Tammy for 20 years and her family. She is a very nice person and has nothing to do with the other charges you are thinking about. Get a life you ignorant a$$! I am someone speaking out about abuse at the hands of another member of this family who lives near the one charged. The current belief among doctors and social workers about this abuse is that not always is confronting and charging the offender the best thing to do.In my case of abuse , being not mentally or emotionally strong , I decided to not further suffer by pursuing the offender.Most people do not want the horror that results from telling on your own family.I was not the only one.Others suffered too but their attitude was,it’s family,don’t get the authorities involved.This is as far as I care to take my abuser.This recent charge to a different elder family member has been a healing vindicating justice.I have never publicly mentioned this till now.I choose to not become known.To give the abuser as little time to haunt me by tearing open the wounds again and again is my goal.I have studied this for 19 years now.The legal and health care aspects of abuse.Speaking out is not always the healthiest thing for the victim.

What other people in that family claim or do has nothing with how she runs her business. She may have people in her family that have done wrong but that is no reason to talk bad about her to give her a bad reputation. Hi, it’s me, your 16 year old daughter. I just wanted you to know that I almost came forward. I almost did something that would save me. I almost had the courage. You don’t know this but the last five and a half years I have been sexually abused by my uncle, you’re brother dad. You think everything is fine and life is sureal. You just got that promotion at work dad and mom, well, you’re so close to his wife. You go out to lunch and coffee all the time. You drop me off at his house to spend the night and hang out with my cousin, but I don’t have any fun. Instead of innocently listening to music or watching tv, I’m watching my back, wondering where he is and when he is going to hurt me again. I’m scared all of the time and can’t wait to come home, but I have to act like it’s okay or you would ask me what was wrong. I thought I was strong enough to finally say something, I was so close, but I changed my mind. Since this whole “Pavek” issue has come up all we have been talking about is what low lifes they are, the whole family. At the supper table it isn’t “Hey, daughter how was school?” It’s “should’ve know it would be a ‘Pavek’” or “anti social hicks.” The list goes on and on. I hear my friends parents talk bad about them too, the whole family. So now I know, I could never tell you. I don’t want you to be so upset you can’t think at work and lose that promotion Dad, and Mom you would lose a best friend. I’m not sure what the reason is for all of the evil comments being made. I thought communities are suppose to band together when something terrible happens. As a community, it is our responsibilty to help protect the innocent. Let’s not forget there are victims in this situation. Instead of causing more pain, we all need to focus on the important details. One man was accused of this crime, not a whole family. He will be judged in due time.
p.s. As for the rest of the family, last I checked, not one of them is charged with this crime. It’s sad that they are being judged, for something someone else is being charged for.

I have recently found out that most of these ugly comments were made by a preteen kid that is trying to get people on here excited about different things. He obviously does not understand the value of life yet so DO NOT RESPOND!
I am still having trouble understanding what owning a mink farm has anything to do with this. Another guy on charges for this months ago was a realtor, so does that make every realtor a child molestor? I guess i m having trouble understanding the logic here.
