How could DCF fail so horribly in Madison?
I have read some of the stories about the young girl in Madison who was severly abused, physically, emotionally and sexually, and I just can NOT comprehend WHY nothing was done when there were multiple reports made to Dept. of Children & Families.
In one of the stories I read, I recall them stating that the girl was only 70 pounds when she was found walking barefoot on a sidewalk in Madison. It also read that she ate garbage and food off the floor and was forced to stay in the basement.
What is wrong with these people!? How could ANY agency not act on reports about this?

The parents and sibling who are responsible should be thrown in prison and never be allowed to see the light of day. They should be forced to eat scraps like that poor girl did as well as drink their own urine and eat their own feces just like she did as well. What a completely horrific situation! My first instinct was to say they needed to be shot, plain and simple, death would be a good justice for all of them. But, if that were the case, then the negligence of the DCF people should be taken into question as well. I seem to recall seeing the news report on WSAW that mentioned that in the past 6 years there were 7 reports made that were all listed as unsubstantiated by police and DCF. Sickening! I hope that this girl will get her justice. No one ever deserves to be treated like this but then again I do believe in ‘an eye for an eye’. People need to know actions like this WON’T be tolerated. Piss poor excuses for human beings. We can only pray that girl can find life and love with a good family or relatives who will take care of her. Whatever happens now, she is most likely irreparably damaged. What a shame! So sad.
Let me at em that’s all I’d love to give these worms some
hillbilly justice no three hots and A cot where I’d take em!!!
after reading the Appleton Post Crescent today…the parents weighed 270 lbs and 340 lbs….they certainly were not starving. and I realize their weight has no bearing on the outcome of this case. however…the parents could get 11 years plus but the 18 yr old son could get 68 years. I realize he is accused of the sexual abuse of this poor 17 year old girl… but I feel that the parent and step-parent’s actions were equally as serious. this is a horrendous case, and know that the situation had been reported more than once…there just is no excuse ! I pray this young girl can someday lead a normal life and feel loved by adults.
