Apparently still in custody, Chad Jorgensen, 36, has been charged with solicitation of intentional homicide. The bond amount has been set at $100,000 cash.

According to news reports, Mr. Jorgensen had conversations with another man about details and information about his ex-wife and how he would pay the man to kill her. Some of the conversations were taped. You can read a few of the stories here: WSAW & Antigo Journal

By looking at the court records of Mr. Jorgensen, it seems as though there has been quite a contested divorce going on, with money looking to be the main issue. We’ll see how the story unfolds.

Judge Kawalski has sentenced Chad Jorgensen to an 8 year term.  5 of those will be incarcerated and the other 3 years will be extended supervision.  240 days will be subtracted as time already served.  You can read the full article in the Antigo Journal HERE.
